Buried ««««After being ambushed in Iraq, Paul Conroy (Ryan Raynolds) , wakes up gagged and buried 6 feet under ground in a wooden coffin. Having only a cell phone and a lighter with him, he must survive and hope to be found before it's too late.
I had heard about this movie quite a while ago, and was intrigued. I did wonder how can an entire movie take place in a box? I saw the preview and knew that this was going to be something good. Its been a while since a movie like this has come out. Now a days with all of the CGI and special effects people forget that its not need to have a great movie. Buried reminds me of a film that Alfred Hitchcock would have taken part of , relying on the overwhelming feeling of darkness and seclusion to give the viewer the claustrophobic sensation portrayed in the plot. Because the entire film takes place in a coffin the film becomes highly reliant on the actors performance. That being said, Ryan Reynolds gives and outstanding performance.
I do wish that this film was released more widely , for many people didn't know about. I would definitely make sure to see this one!
